Saitama Girl Sick of Studying Slays Father

By billywest • Jul 21st, 2008 • Category: News Of The Mentally Defective

psycho daughterThis story almost makes me never want to have kids (Well, that plus the fact that they’re noisy, but…). A 15-year-old Saitama girl named (name withheld by law) woke up and decided to stab her father to death on Saturday. She apparently had a dream where her father killed her family so she said, “that gave me the idea of killing him.” She has also stated that she had no intention of harming her father before going to sleep. Remember the girl that axed her father to death while he was sleeping in Kyoto last year because he had an affair?

So, why did this girl suddenly snap and stab her dear old dad? Well, the following from Mainichi Daily News gives some insight (or not):

Earlier when questioned by investigators, the girl said, “It was a hassle being told to study. The subjects I liked were OK, but I hated the teachers of the subjects I disliked.”

When questioned by police, the girl’s 49-year-old mother reportedly said, “Her grades were good when she was in elementary school, but they fell when she entered junior high school, so we told her to study. We hadn’t mentioned it much recently, and I don’t know if it was one of the motives

Well, today (Monday, July 21st) police have revealed that the girl has stated this was her primary motive. Hmmm… I think the worst I ever did when being nagged at to study was say “Yeah, yeah, I will,” and then went to my room and listened to Metallica while not studying.

It doesn’t even seem as if this girl had the same pressure put upon her as some kids do. You know, the ones who go to juku, take private English lessons, practice the piano…

Well, anyway, here’s a girl who’ll be out of reform school in 5 or 6 years when she actually needs to spend the rest of her life in a 10 x 10 room at the Rubber Ramada.

Congratulations, Miss Name Withheld by Law Due to the Fact You’re a Minor. You’ve taken a life, robbed your mother of her husband and her daughter, and have left the normal part of society shaking its collective head in astonishment. And, for that, we salute you! There was no one more mentally defective than you in all of Japan last weekend.

This girl…

  1. Knives, Not Books…

    The latest news from the world of the mentally defective. Don’t hate me… I just report the news; I don’t make it….

  2. This girl… isn’t real. She’s a fictional character living in my television set. She can’t be real because real people don’t kill their dads. And with that said, I can now sleep at night.

  3. So depressing. Ultimately, it comes down to this: do the crime, pay the time. It is a sad situation, but its one she decided on making reality.

  4. She just had to mention Metallica…

  5. When I was a kid the worst thing I did when I was mad at my Dad was take a hammer to his favorite leather chair, putting a big hole in it. I should send my Dad this story and tell him he was lucky ;)

    But seriously, there have been way too many cases like this recently and I hope that she get some counseling for however long she is locked up.

  6. The issues must run deeper than being told to study … i mean come on., the kid is obviosuly f*@$ed in the head.

  7. @Jordan:
    Sad it is.

    @Justin:
    I mentioned Metallica and the good point is that I listened to Metallica while participating in non-violent protests ;)

    @Shane:
    Don’t worry, there will be a counselor working working with her; Someone needs to sign the paper saying she’s ready to step back into normal society in a few years.

    @Neil:
    She’s definitely f*@$ed in the head. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have made it into ‘News of the Mentally Defective.’ ;)

  8. That’s why I teach elementary kids. I can take even the biggest one.

    But seriously, there were some problems here .. maybe because of juku?

  9. When I was 15 my brain had the budget to maintain his own Censorship-office … every offending word like “Studying” “Diet” “Books” etc were directly muted and the rest of the brain never knew they were pronounced in my presence.
    But due to me aging and some restriction budgets that occurred later on this office was closed and its staff was affected to help other office find stuff missing in the archives of the “what-I-should-have-learned-in-class-during-high-school” office.
    So no I don’t understand why this girl did that … but she needs a therapist not a punishment.
    BTW the worst thing I did to my mother is harm her hand, not my fault, well she harmed her hand herself when she tried slap me in the face with it.

    Haha. Very nice :)

    In this girl’s case, I’m not worried about punishment; I just don’t want to see another ticking time bomb released back into general society here. It’s been done plenty of times here before and the results have been disastrous on several occasions. The worst thing is that nobody will be able to be particularly cautious around her because they won’t know what she has done.

  10. Yeah billywest…there should be branding or tattooing of some sort for crazies like these (barcode on their neck or cheek [not their ass cheek though]). She’s obviously whacked and needs to be, and stay, recognized as one. Hell, if being told “sutdy more” is enough justification to kill (if I was a killer) I’d be a mass murderer.

    Maybe she needed to listen to Metallica and stay away from Morning Musume…

    Tattoo were used a long time ago. And a long time ago any former-convict that was to enter a city had to contact the mayor or police to signal itself to him (and he could refuse the permission to stay in the city).
    But those kind of things tended to prevent ex-convicts to restart their lives even if they were able to. If all convicts were tattooed not only the crazies (like that girl here) but also the innocents or the ones that really changed to honest people in prison (the few) wouldn’t be able to restart anew like they deserve.

  11. Crazy ass kid. She needs Jesus.

    Jesus? the guy that multiply breads and fishes? … I think food is not her primary need now (plus they already got tons of fish in Japan).

    And by the way … as she’s Japanese I think that if you were to pick spirituality as a solution Buddha could do the trick just as well. (Al-san in some countries if you nominates a brand you have to nominate at least one of its concurrents or it would be ruled as abusive publicity so I’m helping you avoid such charges by nominating Buddha … let’s add Allah as well just to be sure).

  12. Ugh. Just another incident in Japan that is senseless, asinine and avoidable. I’ve said it before: People need to start opening up and changing the culture of secrecy and hidden feelings. This crap is never-ending until citizens adjust their approach to dealing with emotions.
