A farmer who ingested agricultural chemicals was admitted to a Kumamoto hospital on Wednesday. During treatment, he tossed his cookies and chlorine gas emitted from the rancid refuse sickened 54 workers and patients at the hospital, among them doctors. Hadn’t he heard of hydrogen sulfide? Fisherman Finds Floating Head On Lake Biwa
A fisherman discovered the severed head of a man floating on Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture on Tuesday. It has been discovered to belong to the same person whose severed legs were found near the area on Saturday. If the yaks are dumping bodies in Lake Biwa, I don’t think I’ll be going for a swim there anytime soon, even if it is Japan’s largest lake.
Woman With No Family Register Due To Pass On Legacy To Her Child
A 27-year-old woman who was born within 300 days of her mother’s divorce is about to give birth. What’s the big deal, you ask? Well, the 27-year-old has no family register due to an antiquated law that would not allow her to be registered as the daughter of the man her mother married within 6 months of divorcing her previous husband. The mother failed to notify her former husband and denied that the baby was his, thus causing her daughter (the 27-year-old pregnant lady) to grow up without a family register and miss out on many government services. The law in question says that any baby born within 300 days of a divorce is automatically considered to be the child of the ex-husband.
Unbelievable.

That poor woman, what is the Japanese government doing? How can they let people go around without a family register. And i thought i felt like shit because i thought i was given no rights on my husbands register but that takes the cake, she’s worse off than i am! If i was her i’d want to stomp on some government heads thats for sure!

Heh I just went swimming in Biwa-ko last night. People were making jokes that I’d bump into a head.

Nah, kids looking to get their names in the newspapers probably fish all the floating ones out daily.
