There are sites out there dedicated to listing Japan-related websites and blogs, but JapanBlogger is the only one that lets you view each blog’s front page and check out its user ratings. Also, users can comment on individual blogs, either praising them or really ripping into them.

I created JapanBlogger because I enjoy being part of the Japan blogging community and I wanted to give everyone a site where they could have their sites featured and readers could rate them. As JapanBlogger grows and more and more sites are added, Japan blog readers will have a great resource that allows them to check out new sites and rate them as well an excellent map of the Japan blog community of sites. A JapanBlogger user can click on a blog that he or she wants to have a look at and it will open up in a separate window. Once finished reading that blog, the user can close the window and return right back to JapanBlogger to browse other sites.

JapanBlogger users are encouraged to rate every site they read, providing useful information for other users who may not have time to browse all the blogs, but are looking for a few interesting ones to check out. Of course, users are encouraged to be sincere in their evaluations and should not be afraid to give a site a low rating if they feel it deserves such. No mean-spiritedness, though, please.
