How about the Japanese stop forcing everyone young to have to move to the big cities to live which results in more building and more people turning on AC, because all that extra building - read concrete - it makes things even hotter.

Change the land use laws and the useless sunshine laws and encourage the building of more wild parks and stop the butts to nuts housing.

The crowding in Tokyo and Osaka are not helping the environment either.

Yeah, I was just reading a story in The Daily Yomiuri about a middle-school girl who woke up at 3 am and just decided to stab her father to death on a whim. She was frustrated with school, but she didn’t really connect that with her dad. She told police she just felt like it. I would link It, but then the comment looks like spam. So just go to my site, there’s more on it there.

That sucks. It is scary too. I have been to Hachioji a few times with my wife and son and her mom.

I get the same feeling about the wackos here in the states who go to their work or former work and kill their ex-coworkers for some lame reason or the guys who kill their wife.

Why don’t they just do us all a favor and kill themselves before they decide to kill someone else.

But I must admit that Miss Universe 2007 was Japanese … I had a lot of friends that were “Japanese girls are damn ugly” before that, now they don’t comment on my taste for girls anymore.

Tattoo were used a long time ago. And a long time ago any former-convict that was to enter a city had to contact the mayor or police to signal itself to him (and he could refuse the permission to stay in the city).
But those kind of things tended to prevent ex-convicts to restart their lives even if they were able to. If all convicts were tattooed not only the crazies (like that girl here) but also the innocents or the ones that really changed to honest people in prison (the few) wouldn’t be able to restart anew like they deserve.

Jesus? the guy that multiply breads and fishes? … I think food is not her primary need now (plus they already got tons of fish in Japan).

And by the way … as she’s Japanese I think that if you were to pick spirituality as a solution Buddha could do the trick just as well. (Al-san in some countries if you nominates a brand you have to nominate at least one of its concurrents or it would be ruled as abusive publicity so I’m helping you avoid such charges by nominating Buddha … let’s add Allah as well just to be sure).

Ugh. Just another incident in Japan that is senseless, asinine and avoidable. I’ve said it before: People need to start opening up and changing the culture of secrecy and hidden feelings. This crap is never-ending until citizens adjust their approach to dealing with emotions.
