7:10 to Tokyo is an online magazine or blogazine, if you will. Its contributors are bloggers who either live in Japan or have a strong interest in the place, its culture, and its people. It was designed to be entertaining as well as informative, and everyone involved in this publication sincerely hopes that it will be a pleasure to read for all who drop by. A resident of South Tokyo on the Toyoko line. Born and raised in Southern California, but calls the Pacific Northwest his home in the U.S.  He’d like people to think he’s quite cool and gets out a lot, but the truth is, he spends way too much time on his computer. He started his blogging career with his site Barbarian at the Gate.

He is a native of Detroit, Michigan and has previously worked as a writer, editor, page designer, bartender, musician, waiter, roofer, landscaper, short-order cook, hardware store clerk, bookstore clerk, night security guard and dishwasher. He teaches English in public schools.

A resident of Mihama in Chiba, about thirty minutes outside of Tokyo on the Keiyo line. She grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada and then moved with her husband to his home state of Hawaii in 1994, and that’s where she calls home when she’s not in Japan. She spent the better part of four years, 1994 - 1998 in Japan.
