A student at Gifu City Women’s College was given a strict warning in the wake of an incident involving graffiti on a cathedral in Florence, Italy. The college student apparently her name and the names of 5 friends with a marker on a wall of the catherdral, which is on the U.N. The Church involved received an apology from the student and the college and did not demand payment for restorative costs. The college issued the student a verbal warning. The girl also had written an abbreviation of the college’s name. Wow! I bet that verbal warning will really help her become a more responsible world citizen.

13-Year-Old Wakayama Schoolgirl Stabbed By Fellow Schoolgirl
A 13-year-old girl was stabbed in the back while walking home from school on Wednesday (June 18). She was stabbed several times in the back and once in the abdomen. Apparently some conflict had occurred prior to the stabbing, but the motives for the attack are still not completely clear. The young assailant was arrested and stands accused of attempted murder. No worries, though; She’ll be free sometime around her 20th birthday with a hidden criminal record. I feel sorry for the poor bastard who ends up marrying her and comes home too late from a wild evening at an izakaya. Can you say, ‘bara-bara satsujin jiken?’
